Complementing the coffee experience: Starbucks - Hear Music Media Bar

The Hear Music Media Bar is an interactive music system kiosk, and was developed for Starbucks. The station allows the user to browse music, generate song lists, burn and purchase custom music CD’s all while drinking coffee at Starbucks. The main goal was to seamlessly incorporate the music bar into a non-technical, well-established retail environment in coordination with and conducive to the Starbuck’s brand. The Hear Music Media Bar furnishings, including customer interfaces mounted to existing furniture, lamp tables, media bar, and plasma screen, all work in conjunction with the proprietary user interface, to better facilitate an enjoyable, user-friendly experience.
