Communication device for children living with communication challenges:

Cerebral palsy is a disease that causes physical disability in human development. For children living with communication challenges, self-expression can be extremely frustrating. In collaboration with product designers, ergonomists and the expertise of doctors, nurses and linguists a prototype of a communication device has been developed that enables diverse forms of communication within a single interface. The commitment included not only the design of the user interface which consisted of a mix of soft and hard buttons to cope with the different styles of usage: drag, pound, or peck but also the development of the navigation model to provide quick access to vocabulary and nearly 2500 intuitively organized sentences.
